2. Disable notifications from social media apps

4. Give your devices a bed time
Sometimes we don't notice, but many of us sleep next to all our devices. When it's time for bed and the lights are off, mostly you're on your phone.
But what if there was a helping hand that reminds everyone when it is finally bedtime?
The ideal solution is to turn off all devices at least 1 hour before going to sleep.
Who knows, you might be surprised at how productive you can be tomorrow just by creating this habit! Being away from technology before bed will improve your night routine enabling better sleep and as a result, more refreshed mornings.
5. Refocus your priorities and learn to let go
Social media can be a big distraction and take up all of our time.
We might think we are missing out on special occasions or announcements only shared through these networks.
However, there will always be phone calls during the day to be updated about events.
FOMO, or the “fear of missing out”, has become a big concern amongst people who take breaks from social media but often times it is nonsensical.

3. Check in with your friends from time to time.
4. Don’t follow people who will be drivers for physical and social anxiety.
5. Find a source for your self-expression and creativity.
The benefits of social media are undeniable. We have the opportunity to connect with our friends all over the world and share ideas in a matter of seconds! All of this is great, but what about those drawbacks? We must use it responsibly.
Depending on your situation, you might not need to implement all of these steps. However, implementing at least one will reduce stress levels and lead to a better well-being.
When it comes to any stimulus, you should always practice moderation. That way, you can keep your head from spinning in circles and get some much-needed rest!
